Michael Unwin Wines is a James Halliday five star winery. The winery is well known for the consistently high-calibre wines across a broad range of styles and price. The wine buying fraternity love the no nonsense approach and enjoy tasting and buying their wines from inside the actual winemaking cellar in Beaufort. Sunday Tapas are held at the winery on the third Sunday of each month. Combining six tapas dishes featuring intense local flavours and six of Michael's favourite wines - it is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a relaxed and informative barrel-top extended wine tasting. Cost is $50 per head. With single vineyard varieties including Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Durif, Barbera, Sangiovese, Petit Verdot, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Brut and Muscat across the Tattooed Lady, Umbrella Man and One Goat ranges, there is certainly something for everyone.
