Moores Hill Estate is a family-owned vineyard on the slopes of northern Tasmania’s Tamar Valley. In the meticulously groomed vineyard Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and small amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are grown. The vineyard produces fine Riesling - both sweet and dry styles - but there is something for all tastes in the delicious range. Take in the sweeping views over the vineyard from the cellar door and relax with a cheese plate and a glass of wine. Open 10:00am – 5:00pm daily, all year round for tastings, sales and most importantly, a chat about cool climate wines. Sidmouth is half an hour’s drive from Launceston (40 kilometres/25 miles), west of the Tamar River.
