In 1989 the Wehl family became the first to plant vineyards in what would become the Mount Benson wine region. A fishing family for several generations, the experience has transformed our love of fine food from the ocean into a love of fine wine. Expansive lawns and gardens surround our home and cellar door which are nestled amongst the vines. The warm and friendly atmosphere includes an affectionate welcome from our famous pet Kelpies, Rusty and Roxy. We produce an exclusive range of estate wines, grown from the oldest vines in the region, which we proudly taste and sell daily.
