Moodys Wines is the smallest vineyard and cellar door in Orange with the warmest welcome. Their Shiraz is a good example of cool climate Shiraz, with fruit flavours and two vintages can be sampled. Their Sauvignon Blanc has won awards and been well rated with James Halliday. In 2013 the Shiraz was made into Rose - 'Cocky Rose'. The latest product is 'Vin d'Orange', a rich orange flavoured fortified rose wine, made to an old Provençal recipe. The cellar door is on the vineyard and you can taste the range of red, white, rose and orange, talk about wine growing at 900 metres, and four generations of the Moody family in the wine business. There is also an interesting collection of African artefacts to see.
