Ballabourneen Wine Co. is celebrating 22 years in the Hunter Valley. Husband and wife Alex and Di Stuart of the former Stuart Bros Construction Company swapped the hustle and bustle of Sydney to become vignerons. Along the way they met winemaker Daniel Binet leading the builder and the winemaker to become great mates. Ballabourneen is a boutique producer of fine wines and creates all the traditional favourites like Semillon, Chardonnay and Shiraz. Ballabourneen also produces the Hunter Valley's only Gamay Noir, and a Moscato to die for! Ballabourneen Wine Co. is a five star winery and is located on Broke Road in the heart of Pokolbin. The cellar door team are family and friends, so expect a warm reception when visiting.
